Sun Hung Kai Credit Limited ("Company") will receive applications for the“Payment Holiday Mortgage Repayment Plan”starting from today onwards.
The plan is only available to eligible customers. Eligible customers are (subject to the Company's right of final determination) those whose tenure for repayment of the Mortgage loan are 24 months or less.
Eligible customers of 12-month tenure may apply for“Payment Holiday”for any two of the instalments between the 2nd and 11th instalments.
Eligible customers of 24-month tenure may apply for“Payment Holiday”for any two of the instalments for each of the 12-month periods between the 2nd and 23rd instalments (thus there will be four instalments that can enjoy“Payment Holiday”during the entire tenure). Eligible customers can call the customer service hotline 2996 2688 or make your request via our SHK Credit website 3 days after payment of the first instalment and full payment of the succeeding instalments to submit an application and should complete the signing of all documentations 5 working days before the due date of the next instalment. The eligible customer must sign and confirm their application at one of our branches. At that time, the Company will provide the customer with the updated "Payment Holiday" repayment schedule. Each eligible customer may apply for "Payment Holiday" of one instalment for each application and not for consecutive instalments. Eligible customers (for those eligible customers of 12-month tenure being eligible to make two applications for“Payment Holiday”, while those of 24-month tenure being eligible to make four applications) who have not made or made all the applications shall not be granted any extension of time or compensation for the unused application(s). Example for an eligible customer of 12-month tenure: If customer applies for“Payment Holiday”of the 5th instalment, the next instalment that can enjoy“Payment Holiday”would be the 7th instalment. If the eligible customer applies for "Payment Holiday" of the 5th instalment, all prior monthly instalments should be fully paid (failing which the Company has the right to revoke the customer's "Payment Holiday" mortgage plan arrangement), and the due date of the 5th and 7th instalments shall be postponed to the same due date as the 12th instalment. The same principle applies in the case of an eligible customer of 24-month tenure. If the customer makes early repayment of the debt in full, all postponed instalments shall be repaid at the same time of the early repayment.
The Company reserves the right to finally determine whether to approve (and the conditions for approval of) or reject any application.
The Company reserves the right to cancel or change the terms and conditions of this promotion at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes, the Company reserves the right to make the ultimate determination in relation to any application for“Payment Holiday”.
The company has the absolute right to engage third parties to recover overdue debts due from a customer, and a customer is liable for the reasonable legal costs and related expenses incurred by the Company for such recovery actions.
If there is any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
The Contract (Third Party Rights) Ordinance do not apply to these Terms and conditions. No one other than the eligible customer and the Company has the right to enforce or enjoy the benefits under any provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
